BSL Interpreting, Connected Properly.
Connected Access is a deaf-led interpreting agency built around people, not just bookings. We provide qualified BSL interpreters across healthcare, public services, business and community settings - carefully matching each assignment based on experience, skills, suitability, continuity and individual needs.
Because for us, interpreting isn't simply about breaking down a communication barrier. It's about building the right connection.

About Connected Access
Connected Access was created from a simple belief:
interpreting is about more than filling a booking — and it's certainly not about how quickly we can tick a box.
It's about finding the best fit for the Deaf person or BSL user who needs communication support.
Continuity matters because communication support should feel consistent, familiar and appropriate.
Where we can, we work to identify interpreters who understand the client, their communication needs and the context of the assignment.
Our aim is to help ensure that Deaf people and BSL users receive support from interpreters who are not only qualified, but confident, experienced and genuinely well suited to the work.
Behind the scenes, we take care of the coordination that makes this possible.
We act as a single point of contact, liaising with organisations, Deaf clients and interpreters, gathering the right information, discussing what will work best and keeping everyone informed throughout the process.
We manage the practicalities so that interpreters can focus on interpreting and Deaf people can access communication support with greater confidence.
Every request begins with the experience of the Deaf client or people we are working for.
We take a considered approach to understanding what they need, looking beyond availability to consider continuity, experience, specialist skills, additional qualifications, setting, communication preferences and individual circumstances wherever possible.
We also recognise the people behind every booking.
Interpreters bring different experiences, strengths and areas of expertise to their work, and we want to make sure those are valued and matched thoughtfully.
When the right interpreter is connected with the right assignment, it supports a better experience for everyone — most importantly, the Deaf client.
Everything we do is working towards one goal: ensuring that Deaf people and BSL users never go without communication support where they need it most.
In part of the process of meeting that goal, we put their experience, continuity and access first in every decision we make.
For D/deaf people and BSL users, this means greater confidence that their communication needs have been properly considered.
For organisations, it means a responsive service without having to coordinate multiple interpreters themselves.
And for our interpreters, it means having an agency that understands their work and helps create the conditions for them to do it well.
You don't need to know exactly what you need before you contact us.
